i’m not sure what was going on in this book. I didn’t know who was talking and who the characters were what they looked like and who they were involved with. It jumped from one person to the next without clear direction. One of the characters was in love with the sister of his best friend but she didn’t come in until later. Reading this was like running in place. You thought you were going someplace but you are standing still. Reserve the right to change review when the second part comes out if I decide to read it as of now that’s a no.
WOW.... That ending. This book was so good from beginning to end and I couldn't put it down...a page-turner. Now, I didn't see any of the things, that happened in the last couple of chapters coming...totally unexpected. I really don't believe that Yariah done anything of that. Lori and Tasheem are some kind of way working together.... a set up for sure. Totally framing her. Now, Lori has crossed Ro and she's on fire. I knew Amara was hiding something and Cazi is devastated and hopefully, they'll be able to work it out. Both Caleek and Cazi are about to unleash their gangsters. Job well done Tina J.#1225
Soooo we're supposed to believe that yariah was responsible for tasheem and blowing up the warehouse with them in it and why because she couldn't have caleek when all throughout the book he only wanted her and she had a man, the only reason I would believe that is if yariah found out that tasheem was doing caleek dirty and did it. I'm sick of lori already, so now that tasheem is back is caleek about to have 3 bm's now. Did amara get an abortion because cazi cheated on her with the stripper bih, women kill me, you get an abortion because you mad at the man only to turn around and get pregnant again or try to. Aphrodite was bad in the beginning but she redeemed herself,, yeah she was foul for all she did but she seems genuine now and i hope it works out for her and bongi. Im surprised caleek ain't got nothing out here raw dogging all these women. That mother is a trip, they should leave her in the crazy house. I hope part 2 is in the making, i wanna see how this is gonna play out.
Now come on why Tina J end it like that Riah has nothing to do with Tasheem disappearing. She doesn't have a malicious bone in her body I think Lori and Tasheem is working together. Caleek is going to regret questioning Riah about if she had anything to do with what has happened. Aphrodite finally found someone that makes her not want Caleek. Bongi has really fallen in love and wants forever with Aphrodite but with Lori revealing that secret she may have lost the love of her life. Cazi has loved Amara and regretted his actions a few years ago but the secret Amara has been keeping can destroy there relationship or marriage forever. Hurry up part 2#1225
What was the point of this story.... I just couldn't finish the nonsense back forth between Riah and Caleek. I was quickly bored. Come on.....just make a decision to be together or leave one another alone. I kinda felt Tasheam was alive and working with Lori but the craziness between the two main characters was frustrating for my to find out. Maybe I'll pick the book back up to find out what's going on with Cazi and Amarah. They were the only interesting story line. I was somewhat happy Aphrodite (Ro) find her someone but once again the two main characters and Riah's mom had me deleting the book and moving on to another author. Note: i purposely put grammatical errors in my review just like Tina J. did for this book.
This is definitely her best work to date! Where the heck does she be coming up with this stuff! I most definitely didn’t see any of this coming. This was definitely not one of my theories. I still don’t believe it nope sorry not sorry. Lori and her are working together. It’s a set up! Everybody is suspect! They are trying to frame her. Ish is about to get real. The beast is about to be unleashed and it’s not gonna be pretty and I’m so here for all the fireworks. Sensational job.
The pieces were slowly revealing the truth. This was a good read for me and as always Tina J never disappoints.Yariah – She has been in Tasheem and Lori’s sight from the start and it’s said that her best friend wouldn’t see that from the jump.Amara - Should’ve come clean when the doctor was let it slip that she had some kind of medical history. Cazi I don’t think is going to be so forgiving since they had been trying to for so long and she pretty much knew that it may have had something to do with her secret abortion.Ro – I was glad she became the sister that she should’ve been because you never should beef with your sister or anyone for that matter over a man. Too bad it may cost her a good man.Cazi – I think he’s going to lose it once he speaks to Amara because it was no way to have an abortion unless she did in fact cheat.Caleek – Will lose Yariah because he’s going to fall in Tasheem’s trap of guilt because of his friendship/love for Yariah.Lori - Was the chick who was in the warehouse trying to disguise her voice. But I still don’t get what her end game is, I mean if it was money then she had Caleek, sort of.Tasheem - Set Caleek up just like her brother said, she wasn’t that innocent. Can’t wait until her motives are revealed.
This was a pretty good read.That ending was crazy yo! I in no way shape or form believe Yari had anything to do wit that fire but Lori did she was the woman that he said he didn’t know who she was. It’s all making Sense Now. The characters are all to much and I can’t wait for Lori to get what she deserves.I think tasheemfamily may be involved to cause we never heard anything else after the incident with the pastor and then them being all hugged up with the guy she cheated with sounds fishy. TheThe only thing I didn’t care for was it seems to stay in one place like it took the whole book to find out what was going on.#1225
