I already had the ruler and I did not have any patterns yet so when I found this book I decided to buy soon.It is clear to follow and you can make each projects. You can imagine more from this book and I think you can challenge with your favorite fabrics after you read this book.
Lots of good ideas in this book. I had bought the tool but having the book makes it so much easier. The "plates" can be adjusted to make multiple shapes. I was making a quilt for my church and changed the rectangle block to a cross:
If you want all the patterns this is the cheapest and best way to get them a must have for those that want it all and remember to get the ruler!
